Saint Mary’s awards honorary degrees to Jack and Mary Ann Remick

WINONA, Minn. — John “Jack” and Mary Ann Remick of Rochester have demonstrated lifelong support and leadership to Catholic schools and universities at all levels. On May 14, they were awarded honorary Doctor of Humanities degrees by Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota at its undergraduate commencement ceremony.

The Remicks were recognized for their commitment to Catholic education programs including the Countdown to College and First-Generation programs at Saint Mary’s University, and teacher education and formation programs at both SMU and the University of Notre Dame.
